The architecture of Warsaw is fascinating. The city was leveled - TopicsExpress

The architecture of Warsaw is fascinating. The city was leveled during WW2, so the ornate "older" looking buildings were built from photographs and/or surviving blueprints. They are part of a funky mix of super-modern looking structures (see pics) and boxish remnants of the Soviet Union. I went on a "jogging" tour this evening where I got lost and ended up running over 5 miles. I hardly noticed due to ample visual entertainment. I am now off to enjoy a bath, Pierogis, jazz, and sleep. Good night!
