The ark of the covenant had within it the pot of manna which - TopicsExpress

The ark of the covenant had within it the pot of manna which testified of His Divine sustenance and intervention. It had Aarons rod that budded, which testified of His Divine choice and affirmation of man as His mouthpiece to His people. And it had within it the tablets of stone that had been inscribed by the finger of God, and they testified of His Divine direction and his willing covenant with humanity. But in order to see these things the mercy seat had to first be lifted off the ark. I wonder if we would have more testimonies of His intervention, His affirmation of ministry, and His covenant to walk with and direct humanity if we spent more time and energy lifting up mercy? Blessings!
