The arrival at the hunting site. Never mind the hunt, our guns, or anything else besides the amazing nature & scenery. Was invited to this wonderful experience by a great Assyrian, and one of the original founders of Zowaa, and I jumped at the opportunity. Cant tell you the peace I felt here, each of us finding a post and readying ourselves for the hunt. This is normal life in Assyria, whether its raining bombs on them, or the threat of Islamist invasions or whatever. Assyrians carry on, they live their lives and make do with whatever they have. There are some negative people out there talking a lot of crap about my agenda (taking a month & a half from work, missing pay for those days, spending on top of them, and donating whenever possible to those who need help), as if my plan was to come here, spend all this time, energy and money, and be questioned by Kurds at check points for my beard?! For those who understand what Im doing here, God bless you & thank you as you are telling me how nice the videos and pics of Assyria and Assyrian life are. For the others who only wish to pick on my stand against a failed leader, and the corruption here, I just want to say, deal with it, or turn the damn page. Negative comments will be removed, and thats a fair warning. Otherwise, please see your land, see Assyria, occupied or not, it will always be our true home. Make an effort to visit just once in your life, or just enjoy my experience. Thank you all.
