The article here is a neat observation on Muslim existence, survival in India whether rural or urban. His last sentence in summing up may not be that apt as even if the Muslims send remittances from Gulf, they can not become the citizens of those countries and will be looked down over there by the locals. So, longing for due respect in indian citizenship will remain a life long desire no matter who you are e.g. The painter Hussain comes to mind who longed to come home and unfortunately could not.
