The artists of the City of Baguio will unite themselves in an event in celebration of 105th Baguio Day on September 1, 2014. The activities will be as follows: • Tree planting of volunteer artists at (VENUE) at (TIME). This action will be sustainable as the participants will look after their planted trees until they mature. • Mural Painting Collaboration of artists that will take place and be exhibited at Ililikha Artist Village, Assumption Road, Baguio City at (TIME). • Mini-concert of local musicians with their original compositions on environmental awareness and advocacies at Ililikha Artist Village, Assumption Road, Baguio City at (TIME). The mural painting and concert will happen simultaneously. In this light, we would like to invite you to be part of this project by planting your own tree(s). Should you wish to support our endeavor in cash or kind, our expected expenses are the following for about 105 participants: Food: (AMOUNT). A canao will be performed. The amount includes the rice and viands. Coconut shells will be provided and these will serve as plates and drinking glass. We will be eating with our hands. Water: (AMOUNT). The plan is to have a truck of washing water delivered. Water dispensers will be available however we encourage everyone to bring their own drinking water. We are avoiding bottled water. Transportation: (AMOUNT). (NUMBER) jeepneys will be rented to billet the participants to the tree planting venue and Ililikha. Paint: (AMOUNT) For the mural. Participants will be asked to bring their own paint brushes. Sound system: (AMOUNT) Others: Donations in cash or kind, in part or as a whole will be greatly appreciated.
