The attached pictures show a field of Chibwabwa that has gone all white and yellow. The patches of white are a cause for concern. They cover the entire plant in most cases. This field of about 1000 ) plants, almost 4 months old, has only produced about 5 viable pumkins. The rest have been eaten by a worm about a centimeter long, whitish-yellow in color . What is wrong. how can I remedy the problem, if not prevent it in a new crop? I have Metamidophos. Will it help?
