The attacks on wedding convoy, where about 30 people inclusive of the groom were reportedly killed, is one of the pathetic murders of the so-called Boko Haram. The condemnation by the UN is timely. The series of killings by this sect had been suggestive of heinous crimes against humanity, which are triable by the international Criminal Court. To underscore, the seriousness of the sects activities, suggestion is hereby made to transfer the arrested criminals to the ICC for immediate arraignment. This will prevent undue preasure on the Nigerian Government for these criminals to escape justice. What is worisome is unperturbed activities of Nigerian political leaders about the ongoing internecine war against the defenceless citizens in some parts of the Northern Nigeria. These politicians now heat up the polity, for selfish struggle for political power. All hands ought to be on deck to put a stop to this carnage, instead of bitter struggle for power. Most of these politicians are ready to rule in hell, rather than serve in paradise, because one does not know how election can hold in areas of armed conflict.
