The audacity of Limbaughs comments astonish even me. RUSH: I was willing to cut him some slack. RUSH: Im not Catholic, I admire it profoundly, and Ive been tempted a number of times to delve deeper into it, but the Pope has gone beyond Catholicism. RUSH: Someone has written this for him or gotten it to him. This is pure Marxism that is coming out of the mouth of the pope. The Pope has gone beyond Catholicism? Rush not Catholic Limbaugh is telling the Pope how to be Catholic? How to be a Christian? How many times has this man been caught breaking the law? How many wives? And he wants to tell someone how to be Christian. He needs to just shut up and keep talking about Washington D.C. Seriously. And he suggests that the Pope is too dumb to come up with his own thoughts, so is reading stuff he doesnt understand from something that someone has prepared for him? OK, my Christian friends - most of you, like Rush, are Protestant, not Catholic, BTW -- at what point does Rush Limbaugh cross a line for you guys? If he comes out against Jesus himself at some point with criticisms of his ideals, are you going to be nodding your heads dumbly as you listen? If we all get to heaven and the poor folks and black folks all have health insurance and we all get the gold house on the gold street, and even the illegal immigrants are your equals, are you guys gonna be listening to Rush, who wont like that, of course, and following him straight to hell? Comment 1: Jesuits are required to take at least 10 post-grad courses in their chosen fields. They arent dumb. Limbaugh? No college degree, and hes confused about how birth control works, and ignorant about economics, history, pop culture and religion (to name but a few things he is ignorant about). Comment 2: Rumor has it that Pope Frankie and his Pope Posse of priests sneak out at night to minister directly to, give money to, and comfort the poor and hungry in the streets of Rome. Sounds like some famous person Ive heard about. What was that guys name, again? J-, J-... darn it, it is right on the tip of my tongue.
