Blue Dart, South Asia’s premier number one express air and integrated transportation, distribution and logistics Company, has been ranked 10th amongst the top 100 companies as ‘India’s Best Companies to Work For 2013’ by the Great Place to Work Institute, India and was also 1st in the Transportation Industry category. Blue Dart has won this award for the fourth consecutive year and with each passing year it has only improved its rank. The award was presented to Blue Dart at a glittering ceremony held at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Mumbai on June 21, 2013 in the presence of senior officials (CEOs / Directors / Head-HR) of more than 100 companies. Commenting on being ranked 10th amongst the Top 100 ‘India’s Best Companies to Work For 2013’, Anil Khanna, Managing Director, Blue Dart Express Limited said, “We have been a people-first company right from inception. Winning a place on this coveted list is just a manifestation of the traction our initiatives are making with our people today.” ‘India’s Best Companies To Work For 2013’ is India’s largest annual study on workplace culture aimed at identifying, recognizing, learning from, and spreading best practices of organizations that achieve business objectives by being great workplaces. This study in its 10th year was conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute in India in partnership with The Economic Times. Out of 550 companies in India that participated, 100 made it to the Best Companies List for the first time. They surveyed around 98,998 employees as a part of this research and conducted an in-depth analysis of people practices and their efficacy in all participating organizations. In the Survey and ‘Culture Audit’ conducted by the organizers, Blue Dart employees showed pride in what they do and reflected several other best practices in the workplace.
