The balance of individuals here, vs available space, the needs of each horse, the access we need to each one can be a challenge! Tonight was a massive switcharoo; wanna try to keep up? ANNIE likes DUKE, but DUKE was in love with NALA, who was bonded to SAMSON...when SAMSON died, DUKE moved on NALA, leaving ANNIE on the side. All three moved to the green fields of Strawberry Field, with REMY, who used to be NALAS main man, but is now the squire of HANNAH and HAZY and ALICE, with JC as a wingman. The eight (Duke, Nala, Annie, Remy, Hannah, Hazy, Alice, JC) formed a decent little herd for the past month, but ANNIE is dropping weight. Its impossible to give extra graining care on this beautiful back field, so she had to stay as is or move for more TLC. She has refused to leave DUKE, despite being treated like crap, BUT, once before, when below, she took a fancy to ZAK. HOWEVER, ZAK is now with HONEY PIE and PUCK, and HONEY PIE and ANNIE hate each other. (PUCK for his part likes BOTH of the mares). Could not move Honey Pie with BEHR because he is now with CHRISTIAN, who hates anyone near BEHR, but she also hangs out with IRON and RILEY, the new boys, and they also like PUCK. SO, HONEY PIE and PUCK moved in with IRON and RILEY, so that ANNIE could switch into ZAKS private pen. Beside them is the new shire, who is THRILLED at the beautiful white perchie mare. For her part ANNIE stopped calling back once she saw ZAK, and started sharing his nibble net. Got it?
