The bare slam has been in this great sport for decades. Some of our greatest lifters have been expressing themselves through the bar spike for decades. Why now does USA Weightlifting silently between themselves make a rule against it? The bar spike through the outlet & boom of social media has drawn & escalated this sport to new heights. We the Attitude Nation have grown this sport to new heights & popularity. & what do they do....they call us Fascists & a cult. They threaten & try to kick me out of meets. They red light lifters all over the county who follow the bar down with momentum. All we want....we the people... We the athletes....we the ones who voted you in office....all we want is to be heard putting this brand new rule to a vote. Is that to much to ask for? PS: USA Weightlifting says its ok to follow the bar down but we are not allowed to add momentum on the bar..?!?!? How do you regulate that? How do you determine that? You are turning this sport into a subjective sport. Let the sport grow. Please share this. O...& I should add that this rule is only being unforced in the USA...no where else.
