The base for my pumpkin oatmeal looks & tastes good and it made me think of chili, now I am thinking that I might make a pumpkin & pork chili. As for the pumpkin oatmeal base - it is stringy but after I run it thru the blender it should be nice and smooth. I am thinking that after those crock pots sit in the fridge over night the flavors will come tougher & intensify. Tomorrow I will warm the pumpkin base before adding the oats, its to bad the cheaper oats that I purchased dont freeze well because this batch of breakfast bucket will be pretty big. I might freeze 15 of them and make another batch around the end of the month.
