The basic Concept is this...26 miles is a Marathon...and so I thought...hmmm...26 locations...in 26 days...a sort of Drumathon...and as I facilitate community drum circles all the time anyway it was easy to come up with a format...having managed the Arthur Hull training for so many drum circle facilitators and attended many myself I have built up a national network ( international to be honest but driving overseas...hmmm) so i figured finding help on the ground would be possible...well folks it most certainly is...I picked 26 locations that would not take me too far off the beaten track as I would be driving 26 days in a row...and as of this evening I have 20 confirmed...WOW...I wanted also to find locationS that might pull in other smaller satellite groups..Im already being asked can you come here and this time I think I am gonna stick to the plan as taking out a month from earning my living is probably enough this time around...sorry if I dont make it to your town/village/island or Kuala Lumpur!!!! The event, all 26 days is the focus for the fundraising, which will happen via online sponsorship, and not only from the circles themselves...that way everyone can get onbaord to support even if they cant make a circle...If venues charge well put out a hat to cover that and I intend to use the same principle to get fuel from one circle to the next...Magic Hat...so a few more locations to confirm and we can move into the next phase....thank you so much for getting involved all of you...very exciting.
