The bass at 2:20 something is so catchy. Its so cool to go back and hear Brian before gaslight. While his songwriting hasnt changed a ton, hes definitely changed, neither for better nor worse, I feel. I wish I could be a fly on the wall for his whole life (with necessary privacies, of course). While perhaps not technically or objectively the best at what he does, everything hes written just seems so relatable. I want to know the kid behind the man behind the mask (or under the hat, as it may have been).
