It is a choice to see beyond our circumstances and trust God, who came to Earth as a baby in order to live the perfect life, die the death we deserved, and raise again to show us His victory over death. It is the choice to remember that all that is crazy and mixed-up in this world will one day be made perfect in Gods time. It is a painful, but wonderful truth to be grasped. (And sometimes God uses anti-depressants or anti-anxiety meds to help us win this battle.) May we never forget this life is not all there is...May we remember that Jesus is Immanuel – God with us. And Gods presence changes everything.
