The beauty of Gurbani and Guru Granth Sahib ji is that it was compiled by the Guru Sahib during their lifetime and not by others and it is noteworthy that not even once in the Guru Granth Sahib ji or otherwise the Gurus proclaimed themselves as God but always as messanger /Servant of the Almighty... and all the gurbani is addressed as a prayer to the Almighty by the Gurus......... every Sikh reveres the Guru Sahib as a Saini... as a teacher and not as Almighty...... The message conveyed by Guru Sahibaan in Guru Granth Sahib ji is of Universal brotherhood, love and the well being of the entire mankind.... our daily prayer is Nanak naam chardi kalaa tere bhaanay Sarbat da Bhalaa....... meaning.... Nanak prays for the well being and prosperity of the entire mankind..... Please savour this shabad kirtan sung by Manna Dey.....
