The beauty of doing what I do (homeless ministry) is you never know the impact you may have on someones life. I just met a man named Dennis who was walking down the street in Beaumont who was limping very bad. So I pulled over and asked if he was ok. He told me that his boot had a hole in the bottom and he needed some shoes. As Gods grace would have it, we were right in front of a thrift store. I invited him in and bought him a new pair of sneakers. As we walked out to my van I told him that I had some food for him. He began to weep. He told me that he had no family and had no one to turn to. I asked if he would mind if we prayed together and he readily agreed. I invited him to church tonight and told him I had more clothes and food for him. I would like to ask all of you to please pray for Dennis. He is a very nice man who has just lost his way.
