The beetle is speaking to me yet again..why I would like a standard shift. Life is all about shifting. Changing gears. You are either shift up or down. We live in a time where we have automatic cars, so we dont have to think about our speed, the RPMs and the engine. Yet, I want to be reminded every day as I drive that I do need to pay attention. Burn out happens when we are perhaps driving ourselves, pedal to the ground, with out realizing that our mind and body are not in the same gear.
