The behavior of the Macedonian [sic] manifesto is outrageous. The association in an open letter to the newly declared American Ambassador to Macedonia [sic], Jess Bailey, persona non grata, the unwelcome in Macedonia [sic], considered the first foreign minister of Macedonia, Denko Maleski . Macedonian [sic] manifesto told Macedonian [sic] state leadership to decide the proper position of the association. During the hearing in the Committee on Foreign Relations of the American Senate, Bailey called Slavs to the majority population in Macedonia [sic]. According to Maleski, Americans have already formed a picture of us and that this is no accident. - I think this statement affect the Americans at the core of the dispute between Greece and Macedonia [sic], and it is a question of identity, not the name issue. It remains to be seen whether it is consistent American policy to which the ambassador will stick, or the United States would withdraw from active search solution to the dispute. It should be borne in mind that the ambassador after Yale finished a Masters at Columbia. You also need to know that he will not abandon his knowledge gained there, because the explanation of Macedonian [sic] manifesto or because of the protest of the MFA. We need to be convinced - assures Maleski.
