The best i never had. There goes..... The best I never had, The test i never passed. A dream unfulfilled, The tear I couldnt dry. See as she Slips through my fingers, Clutched in anothers warm embrace. Whilst i cower in disgrace, Unable to seek her face. The beauty That kept me awake for days, And Kept my peace at bay. The beauty that made me concede That love should find its way. Here goes... My one chance to hold, Beauty more than gold. But as a prophecy foretold, I approached and my feet turned cold. See as my Dreams crash against rocks, And faith runs out of luck. I stare bemused as if thunderstruck, Or perhaps i should duck? See as my Hopes flops, Breath stops.
