The best part of Bethesda for me was the worship. I was reminded of this while listening to this song this evening. There was a time when the high school did a play based on the book, The Singer. Christine Goff was our drama teacher, and also the director. It was a particularly hard time in my life and I was not involved in the play. I was in attendance for the performance though, and a bunch of us (Tammy Howell Stephens, Kyle Jessup, and I cant remember who else right now) sat in one of the side rooms beforehand to pray and sing to the Lord and we all just got lost in Him, a lot like what I saw in this video. While sitting in his presence like that, nothing else I was going through seemed to matter. He truly is all we need, and there is still nothing better in all the world than to just sit quietly in the presence of Jesus and sing love songs to him.
