The best time riding. I got a horse, not a mule, and he was beautiful and sweet and hugged me for 5 minutes. I didnt want to leave him. I will finally make my appointments in SB for the two 30-minute Groupon lessons. Im being a devious girl. First I lie to parents about driving to Yosemite. Then I go riding, which terrifies my father though he very generously supports my sisters horse habit. He rode a horse in Galveston, TX during flight training for WWII. But then his first wifes second husband, a dear friend of his, lost his sister in a freak riding accident. She was an accomplished equestrian and he was afraid of horses after that. Also when brother had a brain tumor at age 20, 6 or so hour surgery, I was at a day camp in Brentwood. And got thrown. And got pretty banged up with a fat lip and after that he forbade me to ride ever again. #middleagedrebel
