The best way to know that you’re looking at life from God’s viewpoint is to look at the way you see other people. It’s the number one test of your spiritual maturity — not how much Bible you know, or how often you go to church, or whether you serve or tithe or pray but your relationships and how you see other people. Because life is meant to be about love! How do you see the stranger at the grocery store? The person who cut you off in traffic? The beggar on the street? What do you see when you look at other people? Do you see them as irritations? Do you see them as burdens? Every person matters to God. It doesn’t matter who they are or what they’ve done or even what they believe. Christ died for them, Jesus loves them, God has a plan for their lives, and he wants them to have a relationship with him.
