The best why to open someone up is to talk about things that will create emotion. Equally, getting that person to open up about themselves to you. You do this by putting story-telling in your conversation is the best way to get them thinking about things there passionate about. So it like you create situations and full focus to show you really care about how they think. So just get them alive and aware with all of your attention and relate with them.
