The bible says in (Psalm 34:8), taste and see that the Lord is good. Sometimes we cannot see anything but our problems or situations that we face right in front of us. What we fail to remember are the times we already went through and how far we have come. Our humble beginnings in this life take us from the womb into life in this world. Some of us like the children of Israel; we have come from the wilderness to the promise land. Others like Joseph have been taken from the prison to the palace. When we can taste and see that God is good and know that every one of His promises will come to be. We know that even if we are still in the wilderness that God is going to bring you through to the promise land. You may have woke up in what may seem like a prison. A place of no hope or no road ahead, but God can wake you up in a prison and lay you down to sleep in a palace. The storm may be coming or it already may be raging, but now that you know that your God is good you can dance in the rain and know that the sun is coming out again and it will shine on you in all its warmth and glory (2 Peter 3:9) (Philippians 1:6). Just hold on and know that your day in the sun is coming just hold on to the one that can save (Galatians 6:9)
