The bible says we confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts (Romans 10:9). There is a difference between head knowledge and heart knowledge. Abraham didnt just have some form of head knowledge about Gods promises, he believed it in his heart. He was persuaded concerning them. At the age of 100, he didnt consider his own body dead(Romans 4:19), even though according to human and mental dictates, his body was dead.
