The biblical basis of church membership can be seen in the “member” metaphor Paul uses to describe what every believer should be like in a congregation. In 1 Corinthians 12:12-31, Paul describes church members not by what they should RECEIVE in a church, but by the ministry they should GIVE. A SERVANT MENTALITY OF BELIEVERS ADDRESSES ALL CHURCH ISSUES, PROVIDES THE FOUNDATION FOR GROWTH AND A PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING! An entitlement mentality (what I didnt receive. what I didnt feel, what I wasnt allowed to do, what the pastor didnt do for me...) is detrimental to the church AND the believer with that mentality. THERES NO PLACE LIKE HOME... LOVE CAN CONQUER ALL!
