The big WBC heavyweight title clash tonight between champion - TopicsExpress

The big WBC heavyweight title clash tonight between champion Bermane Stiverne and challenger Deontay Wilder has got everybody talking it seems. I think that experience favours Stiverne as he has already fought better opposition in the likes of Chris Arreola whilst also having fought more rounds as a pro and having a decent amateur background. IMO he also has a better chin and I believe he has at least similar power to Wilder. Wilder, on the other hand, has question marks over his chin and power as we dont know if either are legitimate considering his opposition level has not been very high up until now. Of course, if his power is for real then it could result in Stiverne being KOd early. He also had a good amateur background but lacks rounds and experience as a pro. Genuine power or not, it still remains to be seen if his chin is weak or not. A weak chin at this level means no long stream of success. I believe Stiverne will win by KO inside 3 or 4 rounds. I think he probably has similar power to Wilder, has a better chin, and his KO of Arreola in their rematch (whilst taking a step back) is perhaps an indicator of what happens in this fight: if Wilder is clumsy early on or too eagar to go for the KO he may walk into a big punch and if his chin IS weak then it might be an early KO loss for the challenger.
