The big impact often becomes evident retroactively. We tend to flip our perspective on this. We look for the big impact after week 1, see small impact, and go about our day with a disappointed mindset... maybe even feel bad or text from a client today that said Down .5lb.... (frown face) after a great week of eating working out. psh. Now, the client is looking at the .5 pounds as not 1 pound or not 5 pounds. I see it as 26 pounds lost over the next year. I see it as a more active week than the previous. I see it as healthier food choices and the good feelz that come with it. I see it as evidence that making the right choices and focusing on a goal works. I see it as proof that its worth it. I see it as prooflose steam. Lets flip it right side up. Look for the small impact and count it for what it is - exactly what we were looking for. I recieved a that you can do it and are should keep going and see what disappointing yet incredibly meaningful results are in store for next week, next month and next year. Your heads lights dont illuminate the horizon but they do make the road in front of you clear. Go.
