The big mysterys solved. Bills bump inside his lower lip and swelling was an abscess. He was opened inside. He was given a shot of local anesthesia with epinephrine that prevented blood flow because of his Warfarin intake. We were happy that it was effective no profuse blood flow. Hes now taking Clindamycin for antibiotics. A bacteria called Actinomyces seems to be the culprit, from a culture. Were glad we came home right away and that our medical experts made good diagnosis and treatment. Unfortunately the doctors assistant, got cut from the doctor handling the knife and accidentally crossed each others hand. Bill and the nurse had to have blood testing immediately. Poor nurse.
