The biggest challenge that we as Indians are facing today in Japan is the non-existence of a unified business platform of strong Indian Corporate and Indians business leaders from big, medium to small business to share and extend the routinely brand equity called “TRUST” with the wider business community in Japan. By wider, I mean small to SME….. the spine of the industry. 5000 + long time Indian residents can connect to 50000 possibilities for India every month. Think about the number, it is a possibility. Here, I am talking about 5000 + trust worthy bilingual Indians business leaders in Japan who understand Japanese business decorum are the ambassadors of Indian business locally available in Japan. The possible business already exists here. It is now time for us to create trusted business lobby or shake hands with available stable platform of Indian origin in Japan supported by premium Indian Industry bodies from India in parallel to the positive bureaucratic efforts being put by the Indian Ministry to facilitate India-Japan opportunity. If the trusted Indian business community delays in unification, it will result in a waste of lot of time. As a result, excellent opportunity by the virtue of CEPA will remain available to limited few and the trans-border transactions will surely grow, but at a slower pace.....Raj Adhikary
