The biggest deterrent to scientific progress is a refusal of some - TopicsExpress

The biggest deterrent to scientific progress is a refusal of some people, including scientists, to believe that things which seem amazing can really happen. ~ George S Trimble, quoted by New York Herald Tribune, 22 November 1955 George Trimble worked for Lockheed Martin on black projects such as the A-12 which became the SR-71 Blackbird when it went into production for the USAF/CIA and, in 1967, joined NASA as Director of the Advanced Manned Missions Programme. According to a really interesting book that I have just finished reading (The Hunt For Zero Point, by Nick Cook), it appears that he might also have been involved with investigating and developing potential Zero-Energy Point (anti-gravity) devices that were/are part of further US Military deep black projects which built on work the Nazis were doing at the end of WW2.
