The biggest problems in low-cost housing are water and lift - TopicsExpress

The biggest problems in low-cost housing are water and lift charges. Solution : we need a law that step height in stair case must be 5 inches , we need coin\card operated lift = elevator and we need water meters and also hand pumps in each flat !!! The low cost housing is mess, There are endless disputes in society. Two major causes are 1. Maintenance of lift = elevator 2. Sharing of water bill , and electricity bill due to water pumps. === 1. Maintenance of lift = elevator : The solution I propose is making law that step height in stair case should be 5 inches or less. This will reduce lift usage. Another is card\coin operated lift - sort of pay Re 1 each time you use lift or swipe a card. So disputes will not occur. 2. Sharing of water bill = water meters should be made compulsory and bill from electricity for hand pump should be shared as per water usage. And n low-cost housing, there should be hand pump connected to under ground tank so that they can bring water up with less electricity usage.
