The bill will pass in Texas tonight, but please do not see that as a loss, as I am sure the media will portray it. Every great movement has had stops and starts. Sometimes it takes a great injustice or an inspirational figure to kick it into gear. Wendy Davis seems to be a different sort of politician from what i have seen, but for me, the real heroes in this entire matter have been the women of Texas and the men who have supported them. Their fight has ignited progressives all over this nation and has made an impression all over the world.
