The biopsy result came back negative for rejection. Thats good, but we still dont have an explanation for his ALT (liver functioning enzymes) being elevated. We are stopping one of the meds to see if it is irritating his liver and causing the elevated ALT. His ultrasound results came back as well.. There is still some narrowing of the portal vein. If his platelets continue to go up and down, they will do another ultrasound in the next couple weeks and possibly a corrective procedure. Dropping the one med can cause his anti rejection med level to drop. Due to that and other things they want to know, we will return to Milwaukee Childrens Friday morning for labs and Monday morning for labs and clinic. At that clinic appointment, we will discuss the platelet issue and make a plan. As always, thank you sooo much for your thoughts and prayers! They are much appreciated😊
