The blog is undergoing some work and though it is up most of the time, I cannot update it for a little while, so a quick update here: Breezy, warm, and humid this afternoon with clouds but also intervals of sunshine. Dont think many if any storms fire up during the afternoon in the area, but watch for a broken line of them moving in from the west tonight, first into parts of southern NH and western to central MA and parts of CT. Hard to say exactly how these will behave, but some storms may be strong to severe. This is not likely to be a widespread big storm outbreak, just localized areas for the worst of it. Some of the storms may weaken as they approach eastern MA and RI though some may redevelop later in RI and southeastern MA. So the key is just to watch short-term development tonight. Another update will be posted when possible. A full blog post should be available late tonight. Next week looks warmer than normal with a few shower/t-storm chances.
