The blue merles come this way, much more blue-grey in their coat than the standard issue rough collie, like my Honey. But this one—so beautifully captured (and released) being his contemplative, noble self, the embodiment of Rumis idea of love) by Wolf Shadow—could be my dog in a few years time. Still risking everything, demanding nothing, hoping for love of that kind to prevail upon the earth, any kind of hatred for anything or anyone way beneath her dignity.
