The book “INIFINITY – Beyond the Beyond the Beyond” by Lillian R. Lieber it really is an amazing book. It makes the students, and I believe even the experienced ones, have a trip with the abstract world of mathematics. The way that it is written makes, a very delicate and complex subject be easily to understand and to memorize. Truly a masterpiece. As I did not know much about calculus nor infinity itself, the book made me be with the mind open about the mathematics world, it truly charmed me. Even with all the perfect concepts, the mathematics that were re-written in my mind, all of the items taught to me among other things that the book brings and changes into you, one of the most things that I realized from reading this book, is what does the human mind and intelligence can be capable of! INIFINITY shows us Georg Cantor and even Einstein’s perfects minds! Truly one book that, as a scientist I must take it to life, because with the simplicity, Lillian could bring a whole world to us, a whole concept of mathematics that other people would have so much trouble to teach, making such a beautiful abstract place to be, impossible to reach. Reading INFINITY will for sure be remembered in my journey as a scientist. Such book cannot be read in hurry; such book – as I will do – must be read with its own time, with such a perfect subject approached by the book, it actually proves that the human mind and the mathematic world have a lot to discover together, because the amount of power this combination might provide is infinity! Or it is not?
