The book Ive been working on over the last few years is a book about Gods work in and through the prophet Jeremiah. Talk about a hero! The man followed God and called others to do the same when everyone around him was walking away from God. I see perilous days ahead for America. If ever there was a time that we needed to turn back to God, not just with lip service but with obedience, it is now. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. (Proverbs 3:7-12) The Lord disciplines us to save us and bring us to a better place not to hurt us and demoralize us. If we embrace the disciplines of the Lord, we are truly His disciples.
