The book of Job still presents huge challenges for me to understand and absorb. Ive read it through over and over again and I still have the same questions. I guess I should research it some more through commentaries and see what varying opinions there are. Im just left asking "Why?" . I have a vague notion that it has something to do with purification, purity, maybe even showing Satan the purity of heart that is incporruptible. Gods crucible? I welcome any discussion or point me to a sermon or commentary , please, and thanks.
