The boy with Ultra-Fast Brain Daniel Tammet is the name of one the most extraordinary people you will hear about, he is an autistic savant! He has the ability to perform mind-blowing, and complicated math calculations at a speed that cannot be described. Daniel also says that up to 10,000, each number has its own characteristic shape and feel, and that he sees the results of these calculations as landscapes. He also has the ability to “sense” if a number is prime or composite, and that for him the number 289 has an ugly visual image, 333 an attractive one, and pi is beautiful. He is also capable of learning new languages very fast, in order to prove this, he was challenged to learn Icelandic in one week for a Channel Five documentary, FYI Icelandic is believed to be one of the world’s most difficult languages to learn!
