The boys from Ch!co are holding auditions for two very different shows theyre presenting at ImprovBoston in the coming months. Pick your flavor and sign up if you want to be a part of these shows. If you like to play fast, loose, and big, consider coming out for The Harmondo auditions. The audience sings karaoke and the improvisers throw down runs of funny scenes inspired by those mystery song choices. This show has run at IB a number of times, and its always a loud and fun show that makes the audience an active participant in the performance. If youre into longer, deeper, more theatrical scene-work that establishes and explores real relationships, then come audition for D!SASTER. In this new form, well see 3 or 4 scenes develop over the first 15 minutes. Then a life-altering disaster will be suggested by the audience. In the final 10 minutes we revisit the relationships we saw in the first half to see how they have been affected by the catastrophe that has befallen this world. Auditions for both shows will be held on Sunday April 13th in the Upper Training room at ImprovBoston. Harmondo auditions start at 7 pm, and each individual will audition for about 10 minutes in a small group. D!SASTER will start at 8 pm and each individual should expect about 15 minutes of audition time as part of a pair or threesome.
