The broadcasting of video about Kazakhstan is began The broadcasting of video about investment opportunities of Kazakhstan has started on international TV channels CNN, Euronews and Bloomberg. This year in comparison with the last year the territory of broadcasting of the video on Bloomberg has expanded: besides television viewers that live in the USA and Europe, inhabitants of Asia will watch the video “Invest in Kazakhstan!”. The geography of demonstration of the video by CNN and Euronews is not changed: it is the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia on the first TV channel and worldwide broadcasting on the second. At the whole it is planned to perform 1.5 thousand demonstrations of the video. It is expected that, alongside with such coverage, more than 350 mln. households around the world will watch the advertisement of Kazakhstan. The broadcasting of the video will continue until November 15. As in previous years, the creative team of famous stage director Timur Bekmambetov has been invited by the Committee on Investments of MINT RK and National Export and Investment Agency KAZNEX INVEST to create the video. The main objective of the project is to inform potential investors on investment opportunities of the country. For instance, according to Ease of Doing Business-2013 rating, Kazakhstan occupies 17th ranking by indicator “Taxation” and 10th ranking by indicator “Investor protection”. The video about Kazakhstan that aimed at investors is being broadcasted worldwide since 2011. It is experienced that during the period of broadcasting of the video the quantity of visits of National investment website invest.gov.kz reaches 7.5 thousand per month that is more than average indicator for one and half time. In total, during 2.5 years this internet resource has been visited by 236 thousand visitors from 170 countries and potential investors have sent more than 180 requests by means of the website. It is worth noting that analogous advertisement campaigns are conducted by almost all leading countries of the world, also some of post-Soviet states as Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Azerbaijan. At the same time, according to research of leading international business TV channel CNBC in 2012, Kazakhstan has entered the list of leading countries by recognizability abroad in regions as USA (15th ranking) and Europe, Middle East, Africa (5th ranking).
