The brutal mass killings of Adivasis in Assam by armed extremists has deeply saddened me. I strongly condemn the heinous mass killing. Many Adivasi families have started coming to our state for shelter. We have made necessary arrangements to help them and we will continue to do so. Today, on the day of Christmas symbolising Peace and Love, I appeal that ghastly acts of violence must be stopped everywhere. অসমে জঙ্গি হামলায় আদিবাসী গনহত্যার ঘটনায় আমি অত্যন্ত মর্মাহত। নৃশংস এই গনহত্যার আমি তীব্র নিন্দা করছি। যে সমস্ত আদিবাসী ভাই বোনেরা ঘর ছেড়ে আমাদের রাজ্যে এসেছেন, তাদের সমস্ত রকম সাহায্য সহযোগিতা আমরা করছি এবং করব। আজকের এই শান্তির বড়দিনে কামনা করি এই নারকীয় তাণ্ডব সর্বত্র বন্ধ হোক।
