The buffet is a big project, lots of surfaces to paint and wax (and very hard work, right Krystine?). I painted the inside of the buffet today. I just couldnt leave it the white as it was painted and didnt want to repaint it white. I thought about a light shade of French Linen Gray and decided on another color. I like the idea of a surprise when you open the doors (I didnt think red, maybe I should have). The faces of the 3 drawers are painted and waxed... and both sides of the 4 doors are painted, need waxing. I must say I spent lots of time waiting for paint to dry. Im replacing the silver knobs and pulls with black, and the hinges as well. Ill pick all hardware up tomorrow, put it back together and out of the basement she will come. Pictures tomorrow.
