The building in the back is Tullis-Toledano Manor in Biloxi, Mississippi, an historic manor built in 1856 by a New Orleans sugar and cotton broker for his wife. The tree under which we took our vows was called a Councilor oak was estimated to be 600 years old. In 2005, exactly 7 years to the day, Hurricane Katrina destroyed this historic manor and the old tree. All of the casino barges broke their moorings and drifted inland on the storm surge.
