The burnt Narkasur... Yesterday early morning as I was going to Hippol।s grocery shop, from the turn before Fogo,s house I could get that strong hay burnt smell..as I reached next to the Saligao Sporting Club b I saw the Narkasur made by teenagers gang was burnt to ashes...last one week I would see those kids busy at the preparation of the demon effigyi. One young boy with his right hand in the plaster was in tears..trying to remove half burnt sticks from that smoky fire..while other kids were standing there SHOCKED ...still undecided about their next move. I really felt bad..the idiots who had done this act must be heartless . Again in the evening when I passed by the same route saw the same kids ...those fighter kids were back to their job with double energy. Today afternoon I saw those kids in full Diwali spirit ready with their new Narkasur..joy & happiness of winning attitude was visible on their faces. Kids had painted a signage..next to the Narkasur आमचो नरकासुर जळयला तेचे पाड पडूं...
