The carnage of Assam is the outcome of the ethnic politics of the state which has been pursued by the ruling dispensation of Assam since Independence!!! The ruler always played the dirty game of putting Assamese against Bengali and vice- versa, one ethnic tribe against another ethnic tribe to grab the power!!! Amidst of the linguist and ethnic tension, there has been ruthless exploitation of ethnic and minority groups. They always add fuel to such conflicts to hide their abundance of corruption. Ironically, in the present ethnic conflicts where so many innocent people including children died are from the most poor tribal groups of Assam. And the present circumstances is not also free from pseudo political gain!!! Due to such nefarious political game plan, the land of Assam has witnessed plethora of such instances where innocent people have to face the death of children, women, burning of houses and destruction of property since Independence!!! My appeal to all, please shun politics and think about all round and sustainable development of all groups; I am sure all the ethnic and linguistic strife of the state will be faded forever!!!!
