The cartoon in the last post started a conversaton about recipes, one of which made its way into Devilish. Our maternal grandmother lived with us the whole time we were growing up. When my younger brother Mark was in high school our house became a gathering place for his friends. A large part of the appeal was Grams cookies. ( I think they were a bigger draw than Matilda, the only member of the family with a prehensile tail). And about that time, this became a running gag in Gary Trudeaus comic strip. As it turns out, even demons like chocolate chip cookies. Gram spent most of her days, though, helping Dad out at the garden and pet store-cum-dog grooming-shop that Dad called Robsons Clip Joint.
