The cat room at the Tipton shelter is completely full, local rescue groups are overflowing with adoptable cats and kittens and we have all been losing sleep worrying about this sweet mommy cat trying to care for newborn kittens in a small, metal cage. These tiny kittens are so vulnerable with their brand-new immune systems and an animal shelter is no place for them to begin their lives. Just when we thought we were out of miracles, a guardian angel appeared on the scene! A rescuer in central Illinois who follows the Paws & Claws page has offered to take this family into her care and make sure they are vetted and adopted to wonderful homes once they are ready. We have the transportation worked out, so all we need now is donations to help this kind rescuer with the vetting costs! It’s a huge financial undertaking for a small rescue group to take on a mother and 6 kittens, so we are calling upon your generosity once again.
